Maples in the Mist: Chinese Poems Illustrated for Children by Jean & Mou-sien Tseng: The museum’s website presents an apt description of this imaginative exhibition: “…twenty-two original watercolors by the Tsengs present aspects of China’s traditional customs and the splendor of its countryside. The Tang poems, which encouraged centuries of Chinese children as they learned to read, were translated into English by Minfong Ho.”

Hours

Zimmerli Art Museum is open from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, guests can visit the museum from noon until 5 p.m. The museum is closed in August, on Mondays, and major holidays.
